In the late 80s Gisela and I decided to change our life and leave our home country Germany for awhile. This "while" ended up to be an 18 year trip around the world.
Our fifth and last continent was North America where we had to sell the Unimog Camper you see on the picture. But we could not leave our "new paradise" - the American South West. We knew it would be difficult if not impossible to look for a substitute for our Unimog which had spoiled us so much. We listed all our experiences and needs and did a long research. Eventually we got ourselves the best solution for travels in North America.
We realized that there is no other camper to meet our requirements better than a Dodge Ram Truck with a Bigfoot Camper.
Probably one of the most durable trucks and the best camper quality you can find.
Very good all terrain abilities.
An optimum of living comfort and storage capacity.
Compact and very good handling.
We bought a two year old Dodge Truck and a new Bigfoot Camper in 2007 and continued to explore the West.
So, why do we want to sell it then? Simple, Eddi is 68 now and we want to start our third life. Discover Europe. Finally.
